William Crowe

William H. Crowe Jr. took an interest in woodcarving when he was six years old.  Growing up in his hometown of Cherokee NC with his parents Betty and William “Bill” Crowe Sr. he was able to hone his carving skills with the guidance of his father Bill, his great uncles Goingback and Watty Chiltoskie and his aunt Amanda Crowe.

For over fifty years William has perfected his style of carving and as he brings life to those carvings a happy smile will cross his face, satisfied with his creations.

He resides in the Wolftown community where he is always carving and teaching some young woodcarvers the techniques he has learned over the years.
