This Halloween, something is stirring at Qualla Arts & Crafts Mutual. Our Shape Shifters event is part of Qualla-Ween, and it brings two days of hands-on crafts and treats for the whole family to downtown Cherokee.
Come as you are, or come as something else entirely. And, most all of our DIY crafts are Free!
Make Something Magical
Our DIY stations let kids and grown-ups get creative together. Activities include:
- Tie-dye
- Gourds
- Salt scrubs
- Masks
- Patches
- Coloring
- Candy bags
- Thaumatropes (an old-fashioned spinning toy that makes two pictures look like one. It’s a little shape-shifting magic you can hold in your hand.)
Each project is yours to take home, so you’ll leave with a keepsake and a few good stories.
Open-Air Art Market
On Saturday, stroll our Open-Air Art Market and meet local artists and makers. It’s a great chance to find one-of-a-kind pieces and pick up an early holiday gift or two.
