Lauren Goings

A third-generation basket weaver Lauren Goings picked up her first white oak splints at the age of 6 when she took a basket class her grandmother Louise Goings was teaching.  She is the daughter of Christina Goings and George Goings Sr.

Being a young artist Lauren continues to learn new techniques at her home in Birdtown and hopefully will be able to teach her craft to other individuals.
