Ernest Tiger

Mainly self taught in his painting abilities, Ernest Tiger comes from a family of artists. He started at a young age working in multiple mediums such as beadwork, woodcarving, chalks, pencil, pen, watercolors, and acrylic paints. Ernest’s paintings show the rich culture of the Eastern Band as well as the beautiful landscapes that surround our homeland.

He has won awards for his artwork in the past as he continues to focus on preserving the history of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians with art for the future.
