Dreyton Long

Coming from a family of artists it was natural for Dreyton to pick up a pencil at a young age and begin drawing.  Never thinking he would start making pottery, Mr. Long signed up for a class taught by Dean Reed and Dorine George.  Finding working with clay very relaxing and enjoyable, he began making pottery regularly. 

Dreyton loves to create and often says it doesn’t feel right if he isn’t creating.  Drawing inspiration from his Cherokee culture and surreal artists, he has proven himself to be a great up and coming artist which shows through the multiple awards he has won at the Cherokee Fall Festival and the Kananesgi Art Competition for his drawings and his pottery.
